A new class of diabetes medication, which will help people with diabetes improve their diabetic control had been rejected by the FDA because there were excessive cases of breast and bladder cancer. This drug, which works by increasing excretion of sugar, works differently than drugs currently available and may have added benefits of promoting weight loss and lowering blood pressure.
